Cenk Tosun

Cenk Tosun, born on June 7, 1991, is a professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Süper Lig club Kasımpaşa and the Turkey national team. His journey in football began in Germany, where he represented the German Football Association at various youth levels, from under-16 to under-21.

In January 2011, Tosun made a pivotal move to Gaziantepspor after a brief stint with Eintracht Frankfurt, where he made one Bundesliga appearance. His time at Gaziantepspor was marked by success, culminating in winning the Spor Toto Cup in 2012. In 2014, he joined Beşiktaş, where he enjoyed considerable success, securing two Süper Lig titles.

In January 2018, Tosun transferred to Everton for a reported transfer fee of twenty-seven million pounds. His time in the Premier League included loan spells at Crystal Palace and a return to Beşiktaş, where he rejoined the club at the end of his contract in 2022.

Internationally, Tosun switched his allegiance to the Turkish Football Federation and made his senior debut in 2013. He has since represented Turkey in major tournaments, including UEFA Euro 2016 and Euro 2024, showcasing his talent on the international stage.
