Cesc Fàbregas

Cesc Fàbregas, born on May 4, 1987, is a distinguished Spanish football manager and former professional player, currently serving as the head coach of Serie A club Como. Renowned for his role as a central midfielder, Fàbregas's journey in football began at La Masia, the prestigious youth academy of FC Barcelona, where he honed his skills before making a significant move to Arsenal in September 2003 at the age of sixteen.

During his time at Arsenal, Fàbregas quickly established himself as a key player, particularly during the 2004–05 season when injuries to teammates opened the door for his emergence. His exceptional performances not only led to an FA Cup victory in 2005 but also earned him a place in the UEFA Team of the Year and the PFA Team of the Year on multiple occasions, breaking several club records along the way.

In August 2011, after a lengthy transfer saga, Fàbregas returned to Barcelona for a fee of up to thirty-five million pounds. His tenure at the Camp Nou was marked by success, as he played alongside legends like Xavi and Andrés Iniesta, contributing to the team's triumphs in La Liga, Copa del Rey, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and two Spanish Super Cups. In June 2014, he made a move to Chelsea, where he continued to shine, winning the Premier League twice and adding the League Cup, FA Cup, and UEFA Europa League to his accolades.

Fàbregas's international career with the Spain national team began in March 2006, and he represented his country in multiple World Cups and European Championships. He was instrumental in Spain's victories in the 2008 and 2012 European Championships and the 2010 World Cup, famously providing the assist for Iniesta's winning goal in the final. After a successful career, he retired in 2023 following a season in Serie B with Como.
