Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Chanté Moore

Chanté Moore, born on February 17, 1967, is a multifaceted American artist known for her talents as a singer, songwriter, record producer, television personality, and author. She first gained recognition as the inaugural signee of Louis Silas, Jr.'s Silas Records, where her debut album, Precious, released in 1992, marked the beginning of her illustrious career. The album's standout singles, "Love's Taken Over" and "It's Alright," both soared into the top twenty of the R&B charts, propelling the album to Gold status in the United States.

In the late 1990s, Moore experienced a significant breakthrough with her hit single "Chanté's Got a Man," which became a top ten success and was featured on her third album, This Moment Is Mine, released in 1999. She later embraced a new musical direction with her 2000 album Exposed, which incorporated hip hop influences and included the international hit "Straight Up." Following her departure from Silas Records in the mid-2000s, she collaborated with her then-husband Kenny Lattimore on two albums: Things That Lovers Do in 2003 and Uncovered/Covered in 2006.

Moore continued to evolve as an artist, releasing four additional solo albums, including Love the Woman in 2008, Moore Is More in 2013, The Rise of the Phoenix in 2017, and Christmas Back to You, also in 2017. Her single "Real One" marked her latest top ten hit on the US Adult R&B Songs chart. Beyond her musical achievements, she ventured into television in 2013, starring in TV One's reality series R&B Divas: Los Angeles for three seasons. In 2014, she shared her personal journey through her autobiographical self-help book, Will I Marry Me?

With over ten million albums sold worldwide, Moore's accolades include a Soul Train Music Award for Best R&B/Soul Single – Group, Band or Duo for her collaboration on "Contagious" with The Isley Brothers and R. Kelly, which was also Grammy-nominated. She has received an American Music Award and multiple nominations for prestigious awards such as the Soul Train Awards and NAACP Image Awards. After her divorces from actor Kadeem Hardison and singer Kenny Lattimore, Moore found love again and married former BET executive Stephen G. Hill in 2022.
