Charles Camarda

Charles Camarda, born on May eighth, nineteen fifty-two, is a distinguished American engineer and NASA astronaut. His remarkable journey into the cosmos began with his first mission aboard the Space Shuttle during the STS-114 mission, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Beyond his spaceflight experience, Camarda has made substantial contributions to aerospace engineering. He served as the Senior Advisor for Engineering Development at NASA Langley Research Center, where he played a pivotal role in advancing engineering practices and innovations.
