Charles Crowe

Charles Crowe, born on October twelfth, eighteen sixty-seven, was a distinguished Canadian sport shooter hailing from Guelph, Ontario. His passion for marksmanship led him to compete on the international stage, where he showcased his exceptional skills.

In the 1908 Summer Olympics, Crowe made his mark by winning a bronze medal in the team military rifle event, a testament to his dedication and talent in the sport. Additionally, he demonstrated his prowess in the individual competition, finishing ninth in the challenging one thousand yard free rifle event.

Throughout his life, Crowe remained a proud representative of his hometown, Guelph, where he was born and eventually laid to rest. His final resting place is at Woodlawn Cemetery, a serene location that reflects the legacy of a remarkable athlete.
