Charles Emmanuel III

Charles Emmanuel III, born on April twenty-seventh, seventeen oh one, was a prominent figure in European aristocracy, serving as the Duke of Savoy and King of Sardinia. His reign began following his father's abdication on September third, seventeen thirty, and continued until his death in seventeen seventy-three. As a ruler, he played a crucial role in shaping the Savoyard states and was the paternal grandfather of the last three mainline kings of Sardinia.

During his rule, Charles Emmanuel III was involved in significant military conflicts, including the War of the Polish Succession, where he initially secured Lombardy.
