Charles Gonzaga

Charles II, the son of Carlo I, was born in sixteen oh nine and married Maria Gonzaga, further intertwining the Gonzaga lineage. His son, Charles III, Duke of Mantua and Montferrat, born in sixteen twenty-nine, continued the family tradition of leadership until his death in sixteen sixty-five.
