Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Charlie Haas

Charlie Haas, born on March 27, 1972, is a distinguished American professional wrestler and former amateur wrestler. He gained prominence during his tenure in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) from 2000 to 2009 and later in Ring of Honor (ROH) from 2010 to 2013. Haas initially showcased his wrestling talent in high school and earned a scholarship to Seton Hall University, where he continued to excel in the sport before briefly pursuing a career as a stockbroker.

Haas embarked on his professional wrestling journey in 1996, frequently teaming with his brother, Russ. Together, they captured numerous titles on the independent circuit, including the CZW World Tag Team Championship and the JAPW Tag Team Championship. After signing with WWE, the Haas Brothers made their mark in the developmental territories, winning the MCW Southern Tag Team Championship three times. Following the tragic passing of Russ in 2001, Charlie transitioned to singles competition, where he claimed the HWA Heavyweight Championship.

In December 2002, Haas formed a dynamic partnership with Shelton Benjamin, debuting on SmackDown. The duo, known as The World's Greatest Tag Team, secured the WWE Tag Team Championship twice before parting ways in 2004. Haas later teamed with Rico, winning the WWE Tag Team Championship once more, and gained Miss Jackie as a valet, whom he eventually married. After a brief hiatus from WWE in 2005, he returned in April 2006, where he explored various personas, including a comedic luchador and an imitator of other wrestling legends.

After his release from WWE in February 2010, Haas returned to the independent circuit, including a notable stint in JAPW and appearances for ROH. In September 2010, he captured the NWA Texas Heavyweight Championship, and on April 1, 2011, he and Benjamin won the ROH World Tag Team Championship, holding it until December of that year. Although he announced his retirement from professional wrestling in March 2013, Haas made a comeback in August of the same year. Outside the ring, he and his then-wife Jackie operated a nutritional store, Custom Muscle Nutrition and Smoothie Shop, in Frisco, Texas, which they opened in October 2008 but has since closed.
