Chris Eagles, born on November nineteenth, nineteen eighty-five, is an English former professional footballer renowned for his role as a winger. He began his football journey in the youth system at Watford, where he honed his skills before making the leap to professional football with Manchester United.

During his time at Manchester United, Eagles faced challenges in securing a regular spot in the first team, making a total of seventeen appearances. Notably, he participated in the FA Community Shield matches in both two thousand four and two thousand seven, showcasing his talent on a prestigious stage.

After two loan spells back at Watford, along with stints at Sheffield Wednesday and NEC Nijmegen in the Netherlands, Eagles made a permanent move to Burnley in July two thousand eight for a transfer fee of one million two hundred thousand pounds. His tenure at Burnley was marked by success, as he played a pivotal role in the club's promotion from the Championship in two thousand nine.
