Chris Govedaris

Chris Govedaris, born on February second, nineteen seventy in Toronto, Ontario, is a former professional ice hockey left winger who made his mark in the National Hockey League.

As a young athlete, Govedaris showcased his talent by participating in the prestigious 1983 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Toronto Marlboros minor ice hockey team, setting the stage for his future in the sport.

His professional journey began when he was drafted in the first round, eleventh overall, by the Hartford Whalers during the nineteen eighty-eight NHL Entry Draft. Over the course of his career, he played a total of forty-five games in the NHL, with thirty-three of those games spent with the Whalers and twelve with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
