Chris Mavinga

Chris Mavinga, born on May 26, 1991, is a talented professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. His journey in football began in France, where he showcased his skills at various prestigious clubs.

A former French youth international, Mavinga was part of the team that triumphed in the 2010 UEFA European Under-19 Championship held in France. Despite his early international success with France, he later made the decision to represent the Democratic Republic of Congo at the senior level.

In 2013, Mavinga took a significant step in his career by joining Rubin Kazan after spending two years at Rennes. His footballing foundation was laid during his time at the Camp des Loges, the renowned training center of Paris Saint-Germain, where he honed his skills for three years.
