Chris Metzen, born on November twenty-second, nineteen seventy-three, is a prominent American game designer, artist, voice actor, and author. He is best known for his significant contributions to the creation of the fictional universes and narratives for Blizzard Entertainment's acclaimed franchises: Warcraft, Diablo, and StarCraft. Metzen's journey with Blizzard began as an animator and artist, with his initial work being on the video game Justice League Task Force.
Throughout his career, Metzen held the position of Senior Vice President of Story and Franchise Development at Blizzard Entertainment. In this role, he not only provided voice talent for various characters, most notably the orc Thrall, but also played a crucial part in the artistic design of these characters.
