Christine Day

Christine Day, born on August 23, 1986, is a talented Jamaican sprinter renowned for her specialization in the 400 metres. Her athletic prowess was showcased on the world stage when she represented Jamaica at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Competing in the individual 400 m event, Day reached the semifinals but did not advance further. However, she made her mark in the 4 × 400 metre relay, where she and her teammates—Rosemarie Whyte, Shericka Williams, and Novlene Williams-Mills—secured a bronze medal.

In 2014, Day continued to excel in her sport, earning a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the women's 400 m, finishing behind her fellow Jamaican athletes Stephanie McPherson and Novlene Williams-Mills. Her contributions to the Jamaican relay team were significant, as she, along with Williams-Mills, McPherson, and Anastasia Le-Roy, clinched the gold medal in the 4 × 400 metres.
