Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Clara Horton

Clara Horton, born on July twenty-ninth, nineteen oh four, was an American actress who made her mark during the silent film era. Hailing from Brooklyn, she was the daughter of a mother who sacrificed her own career as a piano soloist to nurture Clara's talents. Initially, her mother envisioned a future for Clara as a pianist, beginning her lessons at a tender age.

At just five years old, Clara's life took a dramatic turn when a director from the Eclair Company recognized her potential and invited her to appear in a film. This opportunity led the Hortons to relocate to Tucson, Arizona, and later to Los Angeles, where Clara would thrive in the burgeoning film industry. Over the course of her career, she appeared in more than eighty films from nineteen twelve to nineteen forty-two.

At seventeen, Clara married and temporarily stepped away from the film scene. However, the marriage was short-lived, and she soon returned to her passion for acting. By nineteen thirty-four, she had joined the Warner stock company, where she played bit parts and served as a stand-in for prominent stars.

After her film career came to an end, Clara transitioned to a new chapter in her life as a saleslady in Whittier, California. Her legacy lives on, and she rests in peace at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
