Claudiu Keșerü, born on December second, nineteen eighty-six, is a distinguished Romanian former professional footballer who made his mark as a striker. His football journey began at Bihor Oradea, his hometown club, before he took a significant step in his career by joining Nantes in two thousand three.
Over nearly eleven years in France, Keșerü showcased his talent across five clubs, accumulating an impressive total of two hundred forty appearances and sixty-seven goals in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. In two thousand fourteen, he returned to Romania, signing with the defending champions Steaua București, where he continued to demonstrate his scoring prowess.
His career also included a brief stint with Al-Gharafa in Qatar, followed by a move to Ludogorets Razgrad in the summer of two thousand fifteen. During his time in Bulgaria, he netted more than one hundred ten goals in the Bulgarian First League, earning the title of the foreign player with the most goals in the competition. Notably, he is the only foreigner to have been the season's top scorer in Bulgaria on multiple occasions.
