Clay Shirky

Clay Shirky, born in nineteen sixty-four, is a prominent American writer, technology evangelist, and academic known for his insightful commentary on the social and economic impacts of Internet technologies and journalism.

In two thousand seventeen, he took on the role of Vice Provost for AI and Technology in Education at New York University (NYU), following his tenure as Chief Information Officer at NYU Shanghai from two thousand fourteen to two thousand seventeen.
