Clifford McEwen

Clifford McEwen, born on July 2, 1896, in Griswold, Manitoba, was a distinguished flying ace and military officer whose career spanned two world wars. Growing up in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, he developed a passion for aviation that would lead him to become a prominent figure in military aviation history.

During World War I, McEwen served as a fighter ace in the British Royal Flying Corps, where he honed his skills in aerial combat. His bravery and expertise in the skies earned him recognition and respect among his peers and superiors alike.

In World War II, McEwen rose to the rank of senior commander in the Royal Canadian Air Force.
