Phillip Jack Brooks, widely recognized by his ring name CM Punk, was born on October 26, 1978. An iconic figure in the world of professional wrestling, Punk has made a significant impact as a writer, actor, and mixed martial arts fighter. Currently signed to WWE, he performs on the Raw brand and holds the prestigious title of World Heavyweight Champion, marking his record-tying second reign. His outspoken and confrontational straight edge persona resonates deeply with fans, drawing from his own life experiences.

Brooks began his wrestling journey in 1997 on the independent circuit, eventually joining Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2002. During his time there, he captured the ROH World Championship and was honored with induction into the ROH Hall of Fame in 2022. His WWE career commenced in 2005, where he achieved remarkable success, winning the WWE Championship twice, the World Heavyweight Championship three times, and several other titles, including the ECW Championship and the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

After a tumultuous exit from WWE in 2014, Punk briefly retired from wrestling but made a triumphant return in 2021 with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he won the AEW World Championship twice. Following a controversial departure from AEW in September 2023, he returned to WWE two months later, headlining major events such as WrestleMania 41 – Night 1 and reclaiming the World Heavyweight Championship.

In addition to his wrestling accolades, Brooks ventured into mixed martial arts, competing in the welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). His MMA career included two fights, with his debut resulting in a submission loss to Mickey Gall in 2016. He later transitioned to a role as a pundit on WWE Backstage and has contributed as a part-time color commentator for Cage Fury Fighting Championships since 2018. Brooks has also showcased his acting talents in horror films like Rabid, Girl on the Third Floor, and Jakob's Wife, as well as in the wrestling drama series Heels.
