Colin Kazim-Richards

Colin Kazım-Richards, born on August 26, 1986, is a distinguished professional football coach and former player, currently serving as the head coach of Crawley Town in EFL League Two. His journey in football began in England, where he honed his skills in the youth teams of Queens Park Rangers and Arsenal before signing a professional contract with Bury.

Throughout his career, Kazim-Richards showcased his talent across various leagues, making notable appearances in the Football League with Brighton & Hove Albion and in the Premier League with Sheffield United. His ambition led him to Europe, where he played for prestigious clubs such as Fenerbahçe, Toulouse, Galatasaray, Olympiacos, Bursaspor, Feyenoord, and Fatih Karagümrük. He also returned to the UK to play for Blackburn Rovers, Celtic, and Derby County, while spending four years in Latin America with Coritiba, Corinthians, Lobos BUAP, Veracruz, and Pachuca.

Born and raised in England, Kazim-Richards embraced his Turkish heritage through his mother, which allowed him to represent the Turkey national team. He made his international debut in 2007 and continued to represent Turkey until his retirement in 2015, earning thirty-seven caps and scoring twice. His contributions also included appearances for the Turkey U21 and Turkey B teams.
