Conlon Nancarrow

Conlon Nancarrow, born on October twenty-seventh, nineteen twelve, was a pioneering composer and musician who made significant contributions to the world of music. Originally from the United States, he later settled in Mexico, where he spent the majority of his life in relative seclusion. This isolation allowed him to explore his musical ideas without the constraints of mainstream expectations.

Nancarrow is best known for his innovative 'Studies for Player Piano,' a series of compositions that showcased the capabilities of auto-playing instruments.
