Constant Awashish, born in nineteen eighty-one, is a prominent Atikamekw chief and a dedicated politician. Since two thousand fourteen, he has held the esteemed position of Grand Chief of the Conseil de la Nation Atikamekw, which serves as the tribal council uniting the three Atikamekw Nations.
