Constanța Burcică

Constanța Burcică, born on March fifteenth, nineteen seventy-one, is a distinguished Romanian Olympic rower renowned for her exceptional achievements in the sport. She made history by winning the first three instances of the women's lightweight double scull at the Olympic regatta, showcasing her remarkable talent and dedication.

At the Atlanta Olympics in nineteen ninety-six, Burcică, alongside her partner Camelia Macoviciuc, claimed victory in the inaugural lightweight double scull event. This triumph marked the beginning of her illustrious Olympic journey.

In the subsequent Olympic Games held in Sydney in two thousand and Athens in two thousand and four, Burcică partnered with Angela Alupei, securing gold medals in the women's lightweight double scull event.
