Constantina Diță

Constantina Diță, born on January 23, 1970, in Turburea, Gorj County, is a distinguished Romanian long-distance runner renowned for her exceptional prowess in the half marathon and marathon events. Her athletic journey is marked by remarkable achievements, including a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where she showcased her extraordinary talent on the world stage.

Before her Olympic triumph, Diță earned a bronze medal at the 2005 World Championships in Athletics, solidifying her status as one of Romania's premier athletes. She also represented her country in the Olympic Games of 2000 and 2004, demonstrating her consistent performance and dedication to the sport.
