Cora Campbell

Cora Campbell, born on May 28, 1974, is a distinguished Canadian water polo player known for her remarkable contributions to the sport. A graduate of the University of Calgary, she has made significant strides in her athletic career, showcasing her talent on both national and international stages.

Her Olympic journey began at the 2000 Summer Olympics, where she played a pivotal role in leading the women's water polo team to a commendable fifth place finish. The following year, Campbell's skills shone brightly as she was part of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2001 World Championships held in Fukuoka, Japan, marking a high point in her career.

In addition to her Olympic appearances, Campbell represented Canada once again at the 2004 Summer Olympics, where the women's water polo team secured a seventh place finish. Her dedication to the sport is further reflected in her early education, having graduated from Riverdale High School, where her passion for water polo began to flourish.

Throughout her career, Campbell has been guided by her coach, Pat Oaten, who also coaches at the Dollard-des-Ormeaux Civic Center. This mentorship has undoubtedly played a significant role in her development as an athlete and her contributions to Canadian water polo.
