Corey Taylor

Corey Taylor, born on December 8, 1973, is a multifaceted American musician, songwriter, author, and actor. He is widely recognized as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Slipknot, where he is designated as #8. In addition to his work with Slipknot, Taylor is also the lead vocalist and guitarist of the rock band Stone Sour, which he co-founded in March 1992 alongside drummer Joel Ekman.

After joining Slipknot in late 1997, Taylor played a pivotal role in the band's rise to fame, contributing to the release of seven studio albums, with the first two achieving Platinum status. In 2002, he revived Stone Sour to record a new album and embark on a tour, showcasing his versatility as an artist.

In 2020, Taylor released his debut solo studio album, CMFT, further expanding his musical repertoire. His second solo album, CMF2, was released on September 15, 2023, marking another significant milestone in his career. Throughout his journey, Taylor has collaborated with a diverse array of artists and bands, including Korn, Disturbed, and Avenged Sevenfold, among others.
