Courtney Barnett, born on November third, nineteen eighty-seven, is an acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter and musician. She first garnered attention with her debut EP, I've Got a Friend Called Emily Ferris, released in two thousand twelve. Her unique deadpan singing style and witty, rambling lyrics quickly captivated audiences, leading to international recognition with her compilation album, The Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas, in two thousand thirteen.
In two thousand fifteen, Barnett released her debut studio album, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, which received widespread acclaim. Her talent was recognized at the ARIA Music Awards, where she won four awards from eight nominations.
