Courtney Hurley, born on September thirtieth, nineteen ninety, is a distinguished American fencer known for her remarkable achievements in the sport. A standout athlete at the University of Notre Dame, she earned the title of All-American four times, showcasing her exceptional skills and dedication to fencing.

Coached by her father, Bob Hurley, Courtney began her competitive journey at the age of fifteen. She has had the unique opportunity to compete alongside her older sister, Kelley Hurley, on the international stage. Together, they made history at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where they were part of the first U.S. Women's Épée Team to secure an Olympic medal, winning a bronze.

In addition to their Olympic success in 2012, both sisters represented the United States in the Women's Épée Team event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, which were held in twenty twenty-one. In both of these competitions, they finished in fifth place. They also competed individually in the épée events during these Olympics, although neither sister won a medal in those categories.
