Craig Berube

Craig Berube, born on December seventeenth, nineteen sixty-five, is a distinguished Canadian ice hockey coach and former player, currently serving as the head coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League (NHL). Known affectionately by the nickname 'Chief', Berube has made significant contributions to the sport both on and off the ice.

During his impressive seventeen-season career in the NHL, Berube played for several teams, including the Philadelphia Flyers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames, Washington Capitals, and New York Islanders. His primary role on the ice was that of an enforcer, a position that showcased his toughness and dedication to the game.

After hanging up his skates, Berube transitioned into coaching, taking the helm of the Flyers for two seasons before moving on to the St. Louis Blues. His tenure with the Blues spanned parts of six seasons, culminating in a remarkable achievement when he led the team to victory in the Stanley Cup in two thousand nineteen as the interim head coach.

In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Berube has also contributed to the sport on a national level, serving as a scout for the Canadian national team during the two thousand sixteen World Cup of Hockey, under the guidance of Blues general manager Doug Armstrong.
