Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Craig Cathcart

Craig Cathcart, born on February sixth, nineteen eighty-nine, is a distinguished former professional footballer from Northern Ireland, renowned for his role as a centre-back. His football journey began at the prestigious Manchester United youth academy, where he honed his skills before embarking on a series of loan spells that included stints at Royal Antwerp in Belgium, as well as Plymouth Argyle and Watford in the English Championship.

In two thousand ten, Cathcart made a significant move to Blackpool, a club newly promoted to the Premier League. His career took a pivotal turn when he returned to Watford on a permanent basis in July two thousand fourteen. During his time at Watford, he became one of the club's longest-serving players, contributing to their remarkable achievements, including two promotions in two thousand fifteen and two thousand twenty-one, and reaching the FA Cup final.

After leaving Watford in June two thousand twenty-three, Cathcart joined Belgian club K.V. Kortrijk in September of the same year. However, his playing career was short-lived as he announced his retirement later that month. Throughout his career, Cathcart was a stalwart for the Northern Ireland national team, representing his country at various levels from youth to senior. He made his debut for the senior team in two thousand ten at the age of twenty-one, ultimately earning seventy-three caps and scoring two goals until his retirement from international football in two thousand twenty-three.
