Craig Gordon

Craig Gordon, born on December 31, 1982, is a distinguished Scottish professional footballer renowned for his role as a goalkeeper. Currently, he plays for Heart of Midlothian in the Scottish Premiership and represents the Scotland national team. Gordon's football journey began with Currie Boys before he made a significant impact at Heart of Midlothian, where he established himself as the first-choice keeper from 2003 to 2007, culminating in a Scottish Cup victory in the 2005–06 season.

In 2007, Gordon's talent caught the attention of English Premier League club Sunderland, who acquired him for a then British transfer record fee of nine million pounds. However, his time at Sunderland was marred by serious injuries, leading to his release in 2012. After a two-year hiatus from professional football, he made a comeback by signing with Celtic in July 2014, where he enjoyed immense success, winning five Scottish league titles, two Scottish Cups, and four Scottish League Cups, including three domestic trebles between 2016 and 2019.
