Craig Hodges

Craig Hodges, born on June twenty-seventh, nineteen sixty, is a distinguished American former professional basketball player and coach. Over the course of his ten-season career in the NBA, he made a significant impact on the game, particularly known for his exceptional three-point shooting skills.

Hodges played a pivotal role in the Chicago Bulls' success, contributing to two NBA championships. His prowess from beyond the arc was recognized as he led the league in three-point shooting percentage on two occasions. He is celebrated for his remarkable achievement of winning the Three Point Contest at the NBA All-Star Weekend three times, in nineteen ninety, nineteen ninety-one, and nineteen ninety-two, a feat shared with legends like Larry Bird and Damian Lillard.

In addition to his shooting accolades, Hodges set impressive records in the Three Point Contest, including the most consecutive shots made with nineteen in nineteen ninety-one and the highest points scored in a single round at twenty-five in nineteen eighty-six. After his playing career, he transitioned into coaching, serving as the head coach at Chicago State University and later as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers. He also took the helm of the Halifax Rainmen in the National Basketball League of Canada.
