Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Craig Levein

Craig Levein, born on October 22, 1964, is a distinguished Scottish football manager and former player, known for his significant contributions to the sport both on and off the pitch. His playing career saw him don the jerseys of Cowdenbeath and Heart of Midlothian, where he made over three hundred league appearances for Hearts. Levein's talent earned him sixteen caps for the Scotland national team, and he was a member of the squad that participated in the 1990 FIFA World Cup.

After an unfortunate injury cut his playing days short, Levein transitioned into management, taking the helm at various clubs including Cowdenbeath, Heart of Midlothian, Leicester City, Raith Rovers, and Dundee United. His managerial journey reached a notable peak when he was appointed as the Scotland national team manager in 2009. However, his tenure was short-lived, as he departed the role following a challenging start to the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign.

In 2014, Levein returned to Hearts as the director of football, later stepping into the managerial role from August 2017 until October 2019. Following a period of advising Brechin City, he took on the managerial position at St Johnstone in November 2023. Unfortunately, his time there was brief, as he was relieved of his duties in September 2024.
