Craig Moore

Craig Moore, born on December twelfth, nineteen seventy-five, is a distinguished former professional footballer from Australia, renowned for his role as a centre-back. Hailing from the western Sydney suburb of Doonside, he developed his passion for the sport at a young age, playing for the Doonside Hawks Soccer Club while attending Crawford Public School and Doonside High.

Moore's football journey took a significant turn when he joined the youth system of Rangers, a prominent club in the Scottish Premier League. Over two spells from nineteen ninety-three to two thousand five, he made an impressive two hundred fifty-two appearances, becoming a pivotal figure in the team's defense. His leadership qualities shone through as he captained the team, contributing to their success during the treble-winning season of two thousand and three, where he made forty-four appearances and scored four goals.

After departing Rangers on a free transfer in January two thousand five, Moore's career saw him venture into the German Bundesliga with Borussia Mönchengladbach, followed by a stint in the English Premier League with Newcastle United.
