His football journey began in the youth ranks of Espanyol and Barcelona, where he honed his craft before making a significant impact with Barcelona's first team. Tello's career has seen him venture beyond Spain, with notable stints at Porto in Portugal and Fiorentina in Italy, each lasting one and a half seasons.
