Cryptopsy

Cryptopsy, a prominent Canadian death metal band hailing from Montreal, was established in 1991. The original lineup featured drummer Mike Atkin, guitarist Steve Thibault, and vocalist Dan "Lord Worm" Greening. However, the band's roots trace back to 1988 when they initially formed under the name Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, during which they released several demos.

In their evolution, the band rebranded to Cryptopsy and made a significant mark in the metal scene with their debut album, Blasphemy Made Flesh. This was followed by their second album, None So Vile, which has since been recognized as an influential cult classic within the death metal underground.

Over the years, Cryptopsy has continued to push the boundaries of their genre, releasing a total of nine albums, two EPs, and a live album. Their relentless dedication to their craft has solidified their status as a key player in the death metal community.
