Cooper-Dyke's professional journey in the WNBA began with the Houston Comets, where she played from nineteen ninety-seven to two thousand. During her tenure, she achieved remarkable success, being named the Most Valuable Player of the WNBA Finals for four consecutive seasons, a testament to her skill and determination on the court.

Transitioning from player to coach, she led the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA from two thousand one to two thousand two. Her coaching career continued in the NCAA, where she served as head coach for several institutions, including UNC Wilmington, Prairie View A&M, Texas Southern, and USC, from two thousand five to two thousand twenty-two.
