Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008

In the year two thousand and eight, Cyprus made its mark at the Eurovision Song Contest with the captivating entry "Femme Fatale." This song was a collaborative effort, composed by Nikos Evagelou and lyrically crafted by Vangelis Evangelou. The talented Evdokia Kadi took the stage to perform this striking piece, representing the island nation.

The journey to Eurovision began with the national final, A Song for Europe, organized by the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation, known as CyBC. This event took place on the twelfth of January, where ten entries competed for the coveted spot. Ultimately, it was Kadi's performance of "Femme Fatale" that won the hearts of the judges and secured her place in the contest.

Cyprus was set to compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest, which occurred on the twenty-second of May. Performing in the seventeenth position, the hopes were high for "Femme Fatale." However, the song did not qualify for the final, placing fifteenth out of nineteen participating countries in the semi-final, garnering a total of thirty-six points.
