Cyrus Edwin Dallin

Cyrus Edwin Dallin, born on November twenty-second, eighteen sixty-one, was a prominent American sculptor renowned for his evocative representations of Native Americans. Throughout his illustrious career, he produced over two hundred sixty remarkable works that captured the spirit and culture of Indigenous peoples.

Among his most celebrated creations is the Equestrian Statue of Paul Revere, which stands proudly in Boston, a testament to his skill and artistic vision. Additionally, Dallin crafted the Angel Moroni that graces the top of the Salt Lake Temple in Salt Lake City, further showcasing his versatility and talent.

One of his notable masterpieces, Appeal to the Great Spirit, completed in nineteen hundred and eight, is housed at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. This work exemplifies his deep respect for Native American heritage and his ability to convey profound narratives through sculpture.
