Daffney

Shannon Claire Spruill, born on July 17, 1975, is best known in the wrestling world by her ring name Daffney. She made her mark in professional wrestling starting in 1999 with World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where she quickly gained recognition for her dynamic presence and unique character.

During her time in WCW, Daffney formed notable alliances with wrestlers such as David Flair and Crowbar. Her talent and charisma led her to become the second woman ever to hold the prestigious WCW Cruiserweight Championship, following in the footsteps of the legendary Madusa. However, her journey with WCW came to an end when she was released just a month before the company was acquired by WWE in 2001.

After her departure from WCW, Daffney continued to showcase her skills on the independent circuit, captivating audiences until she signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in 2008. Unfortunately, injuries would later force her to retire from wrestling in 2011. Despite stepping back from the ring, she remained active in the wrestling community, taking on various non-wrestling roles for different promotions until 2018.
