Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Dagmar Käsling

Dagmar Käsling, born on February fifteenth, nineteen forty-seven, is a distinguished former East German athlete renowned for her prowess in the 400 metres. Her athletic career reached a pinnacle when she represented East Germany at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, where she and her teammates Rita Kühne, Helga Seidler, and Monika Zehrt clinched the gold medal in the 4 × 400 metres relay.

Beyond her athletic achievements, Käsling pursued an academic career in sports science. After marrying fellow sprinter Gerhard Lühnenschloß, she completed her Promotion A at Magdeburg University of Education in nineteen eighty. Her thesis focused on the applicability of training-specific speed and endurance exercises in school sports for grades nine and ten, exploring their impact on athletic performance development.

In nineteen eighty-three, she defended her Dissertation B, which examined the attitudes of pupils in grades four to ten towards physical education and various sports disciplines. This academic journey led to her appointment as a professor and lecturer at the Institut für Sportwissenschaften of the Otto-von-Guericke-Universität in Magdeburg, where she dedicated herself to teaching and researching track and field training science.

In two thousand five, Käsling further contributed to the field with the publication of her book 'Schnelligkeit', solidifying her legacy as both an athlete and an educator.
