Damien Duff

Damien Duff, born on March 2, 1979, is a distinguished Irish former professional football player and manager, renowned for his impactful career in association football. He began his journey in the sport with Blackburn Rovers, where he celebrated victory in the Football League Cup, showcasing his talent on a national stage.

In 2003, Duff made a significant move to Chelsea for a transfer fee of seventeen million pounds, where he enjoyed remarkable success, securing two Premier League titles and another League Cup. After three fruitful seasons at Stamford Bridge, he transitioned to Newcastle United, contributing to their triumph in the 2006 UEFA Intertoto Cup. His career continued at Fulham, where he played a pivotal role in reaching the 2010 UEFA Europa League Final.

After a brief stint in the A-League with Melbourne City and a return to the League of Ireland with Shamrock Rovers, Duff hung up his boots in December 2015.
