Damir Martin

Damir Martin, born on July fourteenth, nineteen eighty-eight, is a distinguished Croatian rower renowned for his exceptional achievements in the sport. With a remarkable career spanning over a decade, he has established himself as a formidable competitor on the international stage.

Martin's Olympic journey is nothing short of extraordinary. He has earned three medals, securing silver at the two thousand twelve and two thousand sixteen Olympic Games, and a bronze at the two thousand twenty Olympics. His prowess extends beyond the Olympics, as he is a two-time world champion, having triumphed in the years two thousand ten and two thousand thirteen.

In addition to his world championship titles, Martin has also claimed the title of European champion twice, in two thousand fifteen and two thousand sixteen. His dominance in rowing is further highlighted by his impressive record of twelve World Rowing Cup victories, showcasing his consistency and skill.

Before reaching these heights, Martin made his mark at the World U23 Championships, where he clinched gold medals in two thousand nine and two thousand ten.
