Dan Crenshaw

Dan Crenshaw, born on March fourteenth, nineteen eighty-four, is a distinguished American politician and former United States Navy SEAL officer. Since two thousand nineteen, he has represented Texas's second congressional district as a member of the Republican Party.

Crenshaw's military career is marked by his service as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy, where he was a part of SEAL Team 3 during the War in Afghanistan. He achieved the rank of lieutenant commander and demonstrated remarkable bravery, enduring significant injuries during his third deployment, which resulted in the loss of his right eye due to an improvised explosive device.

After his military service, Crenshaw transitioned into politics, serving as a legislative assistant to Representative Pete Sessions. His political journey culminated in his election to Congress in two thousand eighteen, where he has continued to advocate for his constituents.

In two thousand twenty-six, Crenshaw sought reelection but faced a challenging primary, ultimately losing renomination to State Representative Steve Toth.
