He has been a pivotal member of the iconic band Mudhoney since its inception in nineteen eighty-eight, showcasing his exceptional drumming skills and creativity.

Before joining Mudhoney, Peters embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of fifteen with the band Bundle of Hiss. His early experiences laid the groundwork for a remarkable career that would see him briefly stepping into the limelight as the drummer for Nirvana during the summer of nineteen ninety. He played on the single 'Sliver' and made a memorable live appearance in Seattle that September, just before Dave Grohl took over the drumming duties.

Despite his brief tenure with Nirvana, Peters has expressed a sense of regret for not being able to contribute to the band's legendary album, Nevermind.
