Dan White

Dan White, born on September second, nineteen forty-six, was an American politician whose actions would forever alter the political landscape of San Francisco. On November twenty-seventh, nineteen seventy-eight, White infamously assassinated George Moscone, the thirty-seventh mayor of the city, along with Harvey Milk, a prominent member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. This tragic event unfolded within the walls of San Francisco City Hall, marking a dark chapter in the city's history.

During his trial, White's defense team presented a controversial argument, claiming that he lacked the mental capacity to be convicted of murder due to his depression, which they linked to his consumption of junk food.
