Daniel Bellissimo, born on August fifteenth, nineteen eighty-four, is a retired professional ice hockey goaltender hailing from Toronto, Canada. With a passion for the sport that began in his youth, he played junior hockey in the OPJHL for the Vaughan Vipers, showcasing his talent and determination on the ice.
In two thousand six, Bellissimo made a significant move to Italy, joining HC Asiago, where he had the unique opportunity to play alongside his brother, Vince. During his time in Italy, he achieved remarkable success, winning two Top League titles and solidifying his reputation as a skilled goaltender.
His Italian heritage opened doors for him on the international stage, as he proudly represented the Italy men's national ice hockey team at the 2010 IIHF World Championship. This experience not only highlighted his abilities but also his commitment to the sport.
After concluding his playing career, Bellissimo transitioned into a managerial role and is currently the active General Manager of Streetsville in the SOHL, where he continues to contribute to the development of ice hockey.
