Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Daniel Marois

Daniel Marois, born on October third, nineteen sixty-eight, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey winger. His career in the National Hockey League spanned eight seasons, from nineteen eighty-seven to nineteen ninety-six, during which he showcased his talent with teams such as the Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Islanders, Boston Bruins, and Dallas Stars.

Drafted twenty-eighth overall in the nineteen eighty-seven NHL Entry Draft by the Maple Leafs, Marois made a significant impact in the league. Over the course of three hundred fifty NHL games, he netted one hundred seventeen goals and provided ninety-three assists, accumulating a total of two hundred ten points. His standout season came in nineteen eighty-nine to ninety, where he achieved career highs with thirty-nine goals, thirty-seven assists, and seventy-six points in just sixty-eight games.

Notably, Marois is recognized as only the third player in modern Maple Leafs history, since the nineteen forty-three to forty-four season, to score multiple hat tricks in his first season with the club. He shares this honor with Wilf Paiement and John Tavares, but uniquely, he accomplished this feat as a rookie.

Before his professional career, Marois honed his skills in youth hockey, participating in the prestigious nineteen eighty Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Plessisville, Quebec. His legacy continues through his family, as he is the uncle of former NHL player Mathieu Perreault.
