Daniel J. Miehm, born on August 27, 1960, in Kitchener, Ontario, has dedicated his life to serving the Catholic Church. He currently holds the esteemed position of Bishop of the Diocese of Peterborough, Ontario, a role he assumed on April 19, 2017, following his selection by Pope Francis in March of the same year.
Before his appointment as bishop, Miehm served as the auxiliary bishop of Hamilton, Ontario, where he gained valuable experience and insight into the needs of the community. His journey in the priesthood began with his ordination in 1989, marking the start of a lifelong commitment to his faith and the people he serves.
