Daniel Ratthé

Daniel Ratthé, born on June eighth, nineteen fifty-six, is a prominent politician in Quebec, Canada. He made his mark in the political landscape by winning the MNA seat for Blainville during the provincial elections in two thousand eight, defeating the former mayor Pierre Gingras. Initially a member of the Parti Québécois, Ratthé later transitioned to the Coalition Avenir Québec, becoming an Independent MNA in the process.

Before his political career, Ratthé had a diverse professional background. From nineteen seventy-six to nineteen eighty-four, he held various roles at radio stations in Laval, including CFGL-FM and CIMO-FM. His career then took him to Sony Canada, where he served as a sales representative for Eastern Canada in the Media and Recording department for six years, followed by a position as the regional director of sales from nineteen ninety to nineteen ninety-seven. Since nineteen ninety-seven, he has been the national director of sales and business development for CEDROM-SNi Inc.

In addition to his political endeavors, Ratthé has also contributed to his community as a municipal councilor for the City of Blainville. His academic achievements include obtaining a college degree in humanities in nineteen ninety-seven from College Montmorency in Laval, which further enriched his understanding of the social and cultural dynamics of his constituency.

In two thousand eleven, Ratthé made the decision to leave the Parti Québécois, and later that year, on December nineteenth, he joined the Coalition Avenir Québec, marking a significant shift in his political journey.
