Daniel Svensson

Daniel Svensson, born on November twentieth, nineteen seventy-seven, is a renowned Swedish drummer, record producer, composer, and musician. He is currently a prominent member of the Swedish supergroup The Halo Effect, which formed in two thousand twenty-one. Svensson's musical journey has been marked by his dynamic contributions to several influential metal bands, including In Flames, Sacrilege GBG, where he also served as vocalist, and Diabolique.

In nineteen ninety-eight, Svensson stepped into the role of drummer for In Flames, taking over from Björn Gelotte, who transitioned to guitar. His debut with the band was on the album Colony, released in nineteen ninety-nine, which showcased his exceptional drumming skills alongside bassist Peter Iwers. After a successful tenure, he rejoined Sacrilege GBG in two thousand six, further solidifying his reputation in the metal scene.

After an extensive career with In Flames, Svensson made the decision to part ways with the band following their Europe tour in November two thousand fifteen. Beyond his musical endeavors, he has ventured into the world of entrepreneurship, co-founding Odd Island Brewing, a beer brewing company located outside Gothenburg, in collaboration with former bandmate Peter Iwers.
